Glossary

What the words mean here.

Some of these are ordinary words used in a particular way. Others — Covenant Circle, the Economic Web, Room Full — are the community's own. Each definition stands on its own so it can be quoted accurately.

Praying Preneurs
A global community of Christian entrepreneurs, also called Entrepreneurs That Pray, built around prayer, small accountable groups called Covenant Circles, and the responsible sharing of knowledge, skills and trusted introductions. Membership and prayer access do not require payment.
Community Covenant
The twelve commitments every member accepts, including acting honestly, respecting confidentiality, never using prayer as a sales technique, never pressuring members into investments, and never harvesting contact details. Each acceptance is recorded against the exact wording agreed to.
Covenant Circle
A small group of five to ten entrepreneurs who commit to prayer, accountability, contribution and responsible collaboration, and meet on a fixed ten-step rhythm. A Covenant Circle never exceeds ten active members; the limit is enforced by the platform's database, and a full circle is marked Room Full.
Global Prayer Room
The single online prayer room shared by every member, and the front door to Praying Preneurs. The room is open at any hour; hosted sessions led by approved prayer leaders are scheduled and published separately, so a led session is not claimed to be running at all times.
Governed Capital
The future, separately governed form of financial capital — such as lending, financing or investment — which Praying Preneurs has not built. Any such product would first require legal, regulatory, KYC/AML, securities and governance review, and it would never be a condition of spiritual participation.
Help Exchange
The Praying Preneurs feature for asking for and offering help. Every request states its category, description, industry, location, urgency, type of assistance and audience, and no member can broadcast offers to the whole community.
Knowledge Capital
Experience, lessons learned, expertise and business intelligence that one member shares so another does not have to acquire it the hard way.
Opportunity Capital
Contracts, procurement needs, referrals, partnerships and work shared on a moderated opportunity board. Posting requires eligibility, nothing is anonymous, and every post is reviewed before publication.
Prayer and Accountability Partner
An optional one-to-one relationship between two members for prayer and honest check-ins on goals, challenges, progress and commitments. Partners are matched on practical overlaps such as industry, stage and time zone, not on a compatibility score.
Prayer Community
A smaller, recurring group of members who pray together regularly, organised by rhythm, industry, region, life stage or business stage. Prayer communities exist for prayer, encouragement, Scripture and testimony, not for commerce. Members request them and administrators approve them.
Relationship Capital
Trusted professional relationships and introductions. On Praying Preneurs introductions are permission-based: a member asks, the connector decides, and no member can browse or harvest another member's contacts.
Room Full
The status shown when a Covenant Circle reaches ten active members. No further admissions are possible; an administrator opens the next numbered circle instead, for example Toronto Technology Circle 02 after Circle 01 fills.
Skill Capital
What a member can competently do, published in the Skills Directory. Skill verification is performed by review against evidence; members cannot self-certify as verified.
Spiritual Capital
Prayer, encouragement and biblical wisdom — the form of capital every member can offer from their first day, regardless of stage, income or experience. It sits at the centre of the Economic Web.
The Economic Web
The Praying Preneurs model for how value circulates between members who have built trust first: spiritual, knowledge, skill, relationship and opportunity capital. It is not an open marketplace; access is earned through membership and verification, not purchased.
Trusted Introduction
A permission-based introduction in which the requester explains who they need, why, the purpose and the expected value, and the connector accepts, declines or asks a question first. Nothing happens until the connector agrees, and declining needs no reason.
Verified Member
A member whose identity or business has been verified by review against evidence. Verification opens the Economic Web. It reflects platform trust only, never spiritual standing or financial capacity.
